Southern Pecan Crisps
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 of a 17oz package of Pepridge Farm Frozen Puff Pastry Sheet
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 T butter melted
- 1/3 cup pecan halves, chopped
- Confectioners sugar
- Thaw the pastry sheet at room temperature for 40 minutes or until it's easy to handle.
- Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix the brown sugar and the pecans with the butter in a small bowl.
- Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface, roll the sheet into a 15 x 12" rectangle.
- Cut the pastry into (20) 3" squares.
- Press the squares into bottoms of 3" muffin-pan cups.
- Place 1 heaping teaspoon of the pecan mixture in the center of each cup.
- Bake for 12 min or until golden.
- Remove the pastry from the pans and cool on wire rack.
- Sprinkle the pastries with confectioners sugar before serving.
